What Shall We Do

With This Day

And All The Days

Yet To Come??

Sculpt it

from the moment

you get up, 

squeeze every minute

from its hours,

wring them out

completely 

and taste

their essences, 

they are sweet,

intoxicating 

and full of promises 

if you devour life, 

before it devours you.

There are flowers

to pick and inhale, 

babies to smile at

and make happy, 

what simple and

perfect joy is this 

to bend tiny lips

into a laugh, 

Hearts to warm

and loves to pursue

 like butterflies with

the net of our heart, 

watch them

flutter inside us 

when love

spreads it's wings. 

There are songs to write,

music to soothe

and inspire souls

poems to enlighten

and educate. 

Raise your voices

in song or simply

 in words to reach

the unreachable.

"For the further we try

to reach out to others 

the closer we all become."

Demand peace

in every human way possible,

 stand tall and fight for

 the preservation of all life. 

for what is more noble

than to battle the evil 

of men's hatred

towards each other?

Deny rights to all those

 who promote war mongering

and the control of

others through force.

Bury them deep in the seas

of human apathy

towards their causes,

and if that fails 

bury them

with righteous wrath

in the sea

next to Bin Laden.

No matter what the cost,

sacrifice your party,

your parents

political standings

and elect wiser heads

who seek to find

other avenues 

to bring about

change and hope

in the march towards

temporal peace.

"Trump the arrogant?

Burnish the Sanders and

polishers of fictional  dreams?

Clinch the Ton

of hopes left

unanswered with Hilarity?

Cruz the choices 

with great care and wisdom?

don't wind up a Rube-io-ld voter

with the same as

before tired rhetoric

unless he fits the criteria?

Seek out any farce in Carson?

Remember the Bushes

they were removed from

the White House landscape

before you seek the growth

of a new presiden?

understand fully what is

risky with Christie

though he may have

christ in his name

is Christ in his heart?

Look real hard at

what she's shown ya,

before you vote for Leona?

and remember the adage

 of studying the

whole package before 

giving passage to Kasich?

we need a leader

 not a repeater

of what has failed us

so many times before!!"

But you must vote

do not let your voice go on

being powerless against

 those who seek to keep us powerless!

Work, and work well,

contribute tiny amounts 

of productivity that help keep

the world in order,

putting cash in your pockets

to delight others 

who have offerings to sell 

Acknowledge nature

and strive to protect it

from all of man's

careless abuse.

Pray for all those who

have lost the day

or wasted it into nothing

more then a burden.

 
Each sun will never

return the same,

 each moon will always

beam on new dreams, 

seize it all and live

voraciously while you can

for tomorrow we

are but dust

and from that arises

only particles

that smother

all the yesterdays

we once knew.
