Read me 
it helps  
bleed me 
draining 
all of the 
poison 
and so much 
of the joy 
I transfuse 
into thoughts 
spilled 
droplets 
and cuplets 
of the words 
I employ 
~ 
It composes 
what needs  
exposed 
literally 
it feeds me 
inspiration 
and then
it leads me 
down paths 
to new work 
that I
embrace 
eagerly. 

It seeds me 
with kernels 
of ideas
lying fallow on
soiled thoughts 
I can weed out
and plant
in other's minds.
 
This brings out 
the best 
and it helps set 
my pleas free 
to know someone 
needs me 
your reading 
and comments 
bring comfort 
so sweetly 
for being a
"read " poet 
fills life completly 
~ 
Then you will
be read 
to your poems 
I'll be led 
and leave something 
good there instead 
of that blank space 
we so often dread 
for by reading 
and feeding 
and bleeding 
and needing 
and seeding 
poets grow 
as we know 
ideas bloom 
new thoughts grow 
~ 
And just maybe 
with others input
 we just might write 
some output
one of us 
or together 
bringing all
an answer 
so bright 
it will bring 
to the whole world 
peace and love 
joy and light 
setting right 
all the hate 
finally ending
the fights 
that are mankind's
worst blights 
~ 
or perhaps on
a smaller scale 
we might
save a life 
bring love
to the lonely 
heal the pain
of a wife 
or inspire a child 
to spend all
of his life 
helping others 
times hundreds 
of kids
chipping in 
a world of
succeeding 
let the
reading begin.
