The Poems and lyrics listed below are 150

of my over 4,000 works, plus some of my 735 songs

that I have written. Please do not simply leave an

impression! that is what I am trying to do. Engage

me.....leave a comment, read the graffitti of my soul

and understand what life can do to a man.

I have had up to 2,000 impressions a day

on twitter, but no comments

no engagements, yet all my other sites

are inundated with readers

and listeners and commenters.

Perhaps because I do not pay to play

my songs or pay to generate listeners

by bulk promos.

I do not pay to read my poetry

or my blogs. I have been paid over the years

quite well for my songs and poems

and art and thoughts.

Why would I pay back what I have

earned for another 50,000 listeners or readers.

I give it to you to enjoy freely.

There are topics and stories

you have never heard nor read in your whole life.

Some have made hardened veterans

weep and others have prevented

someone from committing suicide.

Some have brought me love or got me through

times when I knew no love.

Some were written to ease

the pain of the death

of a loved one or friend.

Some are damned funny and I used

them to make many audiences

laugh hilariously.

Some will introduce you to thoughts

that never crossed your mind.

Open a few and read them,

devour their words,

they are like pistachios without a shell.

requiring no effort for you to

get to the meat of the matter.

Or don't bother.

I have sealed all of my work in

an archive and buried it deep to be

discovered long after I am gone.

When future generations have grown bored of

theIr current cultures and

some curious soul of the archealogy strain

digs up my heart-ealogy

then I will be read and listened too.

That will suffice.

I also plan on being buried coffinless

with the seed of a mighty oak

implanted in my chest,

so that I can come back as a tree,

raising my limbs

again to the sky,

taking roots in my old hometown,

and perhaps eventually

winding up as a coffee table

that just might hold a book

of my poems or a

CD of my songs.

Who knows???

on your twitter page.

I write to be heard, to bleed off

the pain and joy life grants me,

it is a coping mechanism

that makes me happy.

But it is so much more rewarding

when I get a little feedback..... otherwise

I just sit around eating

my own words.

Thanks to all of you who have left

of impressions on my site at twitter.

I am like some jurassic clay

imprinted by the endless

feet that have walked

through my space,

a fossil of immense porportions.

Gauge my work and then

engage me. I will make it

worth your while

because readers make

me write so much more.

Otherwise I may no longer

be the twit that impressed so many,

but rather just a former twit.
