Who started this band or was it a together thing? Were there auditions?                                                      

I started the band myself as a solo act after reaching out to several groups. There were no auditions really. Everything was based off of street cred back then, so even though people knew I was talented, they wouldn't bother with me because I was the smart kid on the block.

Why the name RAWBOSS?

Growing up I was raw, purely with everything I did. I won at nearly everything. I rarely lost. I took risk after risk. People never knew what would happen around me, but they trusted me to lead the way. My older brother then gave me the name Rawboss at 13 and it stuck.

Who do you think is the most important in the band?

I think the most important part would be lyrical content & songwriting. Having the drive and consistency is nice, but with no guidance it all goes nowhere fast.

Where would you like to tour someday?

I'd like to tour in other countries, mainly the United Kingdom, Russia, Australia and South America. I really want to embrace Russia, but countries I feel would honestly appreciate real rap and not the mainstream music we hear on the radio have my heart. I want to touch those places more than any place else.

If you were a superhero, what color would be your super hero uniform?:

Black and gold. Oddly enough, black is my favorite color. If it came with a cape it would have to be blue.

Any advice to kids who are being bullied in school?

Get involved in an activity, stick with it, and try your best to be successful at it. When people see your dedication to something, they will begin to leave you alone. You have to make your life so busy that you don't have time to cross paths with most people. Before long teachers etc will back you and force those students to leave you alone. I spent my high school years in the counselor's office. It worked wonders for me. I too faced bullying, but it wasn't until I placed the focus on myself that it all began to fade away. Look at your life and be the best you can be. Don't worry about the bullying. They haven't discovered who they are yet and the fact that you are establishing an identity for yourself makes them feel left behind.
