About Me
Danny Skinner has been writing, recording and performing his original brand of infectiously catchy pop-rock songs since a very early age. Having fronted numerous bands over the years (The Gemini Program, More Than Nothing, The Ultra Vespa, The Irony, and The Swim to name a few), Danny has established himself as a fixture of the Dallas music scene.

In late 2009, Danny returned to his studio and began writing what would become "The Trans-Campfire Sing-Along", a 5 song EP named for its acoustic guitar foundation, instantly memorable melodies, and exquisite simplicity. Each track could be comfortably performed by a guy with a guitar by a campfire. The lyrics are introspective, spiritual, and relatable.

In 2012 Danny is wrapping up post production on his latest release. This new set of songs is a return to his full-on rock and/or roll forte. Big drums, huge guitars, hook laden layers, textures, soulful lyrics and vocals will grab you by the ears and make you want to listen again.

Influences include The Beatles, Elvis, Weezer, The Cars, House of Heroes, Relient K, The Rocket Summer, and more.
