It was with a heavy heart but with joyful tears, that I had the opportunity to go support the families of burn victims today. Just to be able to come in contact with two young men,
who’s live are forever changed due to fire, has been truly humbling. Their strength to keep fighting everyday to restore their faith and life, is definitely a miracle from God.
Not to mention the countless hours and days that their families spend at the hospital, in vigilant, prayerful, restlessness. In hopes that each passing moment brings relief and strength to their loved ones. Their support and faith is not unnoticed, God is obviously the Spirit holding them together!
So me and my wife were definitely blessed to come share in their pain and hope. Only if it was for but a brief moment, we were allowed to come along side our brothers and sisters in Christ, and share the love.
Beyond the music, this is what I have been called to do, we all are called to do. Strengthen, encourage, and support one another. Also, it’s puts into perspective, on how fragile life this side of heaven truly is. And how we need to just love each other, savor every moment, and be thankful.
Please keep these families in your prayers. And if your given the opportunity to share in the grief of others, do it willingly without question.
