In the deployment of 

the first line of defense,

of what you truly believe in

you should set many characters

in straight lines,

neatly formed,

with capitals

leading the minions.

 
Matching your strengths

against your weaknesses 

as you plot a way

to change closed minds

to the complete freedom

of your songs or poems.

Simply waving white sheets

etched in perfection

with messages

that coerce only surrender,

to the flow and beauty 

of your peaceful thoughts, 

or jabbing with a pen

or a mixing board 

in long strokes,

till ink is flowing like blood

and your chords are stretched

beyond intolerance

to shock all who encounter,

the rants of a mad poet 

the wails of a skilled singer

expressing their angst.

Leave the world with

solutions that allow

composed readings

and gentle tunes

to calm the masses,

or with minds shredded 

into dangling participles,

that are rendered speechless

by your lead tipped bullet-tins.

or your notes so sharp

that they cut steel!

You must carefully

mine the alphabet

till thesaurus part of your mind

offers only brilliant explosive expletives 

punctuating the onrush of apathy

with  unheard  of ideas that 

impact on the societies

who are far too often

found to be illiterate

on the artistic front.

Victory can be gained

by bringing back

rhyme and reason, 

to all who look

with disdain

on your creative

bursts of energy.

By first capturing readers 

and or listeners

and then liberating

those souls who are

forced to be prisoners

in the holds

of the many censorships

that sail the backwaters 

of  ignorant minds.

Thus allowing their

souls to be set free.
