I’ve whiffed, sniffed,

dipped and slipped

Many hip things

into my mouth

I’ve smoked and coked,

numbing my nose and throat

Trying to find out

what drugs are about,

But I never drained

anything into my veins

I’ve watched too many friends

do that and rot their brains....

rot rheir brains

I smoked banana peels

when I was a hippy

but much to my dismay,

I got constipated and

just walked around

singing Chiquita Bonita

all day,

I’ve tried all the safe buzzes

and I never got busted

Paranoia always kept me O.K

Driving so carefully like I had OCD

When the munchies

sent me shopping each day….

But the greatest addiction

that I’ve ever discovered

Was a beautiful lady

whose a perfect lover,

It’s the ultimate high

it doesn’t redden your eyes,

Unless your giving Kamasutra love

an all night try…

Then you’ll be huffing and puffing

from all the loving you do

You’ll be dipping and slipping

fore the night is through,

till you’re  floating in

an afterglow beyond compare

to all the drugs that hippies did

and all the highs they shared.

So if you’re looking for a high

Better than you’ve ever known

It’s probably right around the corner

And I’m sure it’s homegrown,

Just find a beautiful gal

who is a perfect lover

And be sure that she’s an expert
