About Me
Cerebral Tone A.K.A Steve Fisher is a singer/songwriter/composer/performer/impressionist/actor. He has been performing around the northwest for years now getting great reception from audiences. The music he performs is everything from Blues, to Folk, to classic rock both originals and covers. To sum up his sound it has a Cerebral/pop/folk/rock/Beatleish sound. Steve began singing at a young age, in grade school, in choir and in various school performances. Steve began piano lessons at the age of 13, and at 14 took up guitar lessons in which he advanced quickly. In high school, he played the guitar in the jazz band and the bass in the stage band. Steve also performed in two youth conventions for the Catholic Archdiocese in front of an audience of 2500 where he received a standing ovation for his guitar solo on “Let it be” by the Beatles. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Edmonds community college, where he studied 2 years of music theory and 4 quarters of vocal coaching. While in college he formed a trio called “RAVEN” that consisted of a cellist, a percussionist and Steve on guitar and vocals and he composed music for the cello and guitar. He has performed on Public Access, ITV and many other venues around the Seattle area. In 2006 Steve signed a three year publishing contract with “Happy Melody” in Belgium for airplay on 40 local stations in Belgium and across the Netherlands in which he received positive feed back. From 2012 to 2014 he became one of the most requested acts at “The 192 Brewery in Kenmore WA. Steve currently performs around Washington state under the name “Cerebral Tone”. He also performed as “Buddy Holly” in a “Buddy Holly” tribute band that honors Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper from 2014 to 2018. Music has always been a part of his soul. Steve has also written a song for “Edge” The Novel soundtrack. The name of the song is “Ravens Wings”.

R.I.P., SCOTT TUCHBAND (1952 - 2024)

In 1976, I, Elliott Michaels, sang and played organ in a Brooklyn band known as FIREFLY. After months of speculation, it has become apparent to me that Firefly founder and my friend and musical collaborator SCOTT TUCHBAND has finally died, succumbing to a number of illnesses. Mr. Tuchband co-wrote most of the original songs we played in Firefly, in collaboration with his friend and neighbor Joseph Bolnick. Scott went on to play in a number of other bands and musical groups such as Kashmir,…See More
