- Robert "Paragon" Bishop, I've internalized and reinterpreted all the best Pop/R&B/Hip Hop music from the 70's until now with urban soulful guitar & keyboard playing with a modern 808 sound w/no sampling. My main influences are 70's - 80's R&B/Soul/Funk. I study those tones everyday so they can stay embedded into my subconscious. 90's Hip Hop influences aides in modernizing the tone study because the era's producers sampled mainly from the 70's - 80's while incorporating new rhythms. My recognition of the current music in this era makes my sound marketable and relevant, while I maintain my individuality with the proper dose of musicianship.
I am the "Missing Link" between the Musician & Beatmaker. My highly advanced ear, is the core to my musicianship and years as a DJ, when I was a young man fortifies my arrangement skills.
