Vivalda Dula With my guest from China Ms. Iris Shiwei

Vivalda Dula is an Angola born singer, songwriter and percussionist of World Music genre that began professionally her artistic career as Afro-Contemporary dancer. In her music style she travels through Semba. Her fresh and light sound marries the roots from Angolan music to Western music sung in Kimbundu (Bantu language from Angola), Portuguese and English.

One of her biggest challenge was the Afro-Contemporary Musical Mujitu that she wrote, produced and directed, performed in
Luanda-Angola, in 2011 and Houston-Tx in February of 2013.

July 2013 Vivalda released the EP ``Insanidade Mental``(Mental Insanity) produced by DBACS Music Division and Vivalda Dula with 6 original songs that she wrote, composed and played all the percussion showing the diversity of her talent transformed in World Music.
From EP Insanidade Mental the song ``Marcas do Meu
Olhar`` was October best song and Award wining by both The Akademia Music Award in World Beat Category category and Poze Production/Poze Record Inc.

In 2011 the holder of a BS in International Relations with concentration in Cultural Issues that one day aspire a diplomatic career, relocated to Houston,Tx to embrace her singing solo career performing in several states of USA inviting listeners to be part of her beautiful performances and person
