This is a helpful video because it further explained what I had already thought about. Honestly, I feel like I have superstar level talent but novice level promotional skills. I've sent e-blasts and one sentence emails but that didn't get me far. People told me to just send in a demo, but you should never send one without artwork. The funny thing is that people on the street hate when you hand them your CD more than A&Rs.

I think part of this is about being original and being yourself. Yes I agree with hard work anything is possible but you need to have a story that sets you apart from everyone else. What makes you as an artist different then anyone else who is sending in a promo CD? That is the kind of things you have to ask yourself. You have to live and breath your music day and night no matter how long it takes just to reach your goals. Thanks for sharing this great video man good info here :)
