About Me
Few artists are able to be transparent in their music,
and even fewer are able to bring that message in such
a way that people are able to relate and walk away from
the experience better than they were before. Kwesi Jones is one such artist.
Born in the small town of Chester SC, Kwesi grew up in the town of Salisbury NC. At the early age of 5, Kwesi's talent and gift was realized when he wrote his first rhyme. Although he wasn't aware if exactly what he had, there was always a fire that burned inside of him for music. Kwesi watched his step-brother rap,and was inspired by him at an early age.
Unaware of the calling of GOD on his life, Kwesi ended up being in and out of jail, and even walked away from his responsibilities as a parent. Not until one day sitting in church with his daughter, when she looked him in the eyes and told him his life decisions had negatively impacted her as well. Since then he's given his life to GOD in 2012,sharing his testimonies amd struggles with many. It has afforded him the opportunity to share with notable artists, writers, and producers such as Roy C. Hammond, David Sparks, Melvin Baxter & Al Boyd of "NPHASE", as well as others.
Kwesi Jones has made the decision to step from "behind closed doors" and present himself as a living vessel for the Lord and bring forth truth within loving GOD and loving yourself. He is definitely a young man that will continue to be a vital asset to the kingdom of GOD, as well as the music community for years to come.
