About Me
Trevor Stewart A.K.A The I.C.O.N. was born in the Marble Hill Projects in the Bronx, NY. Raised around different types of music his whole life, he was mesmorized by sound at an early age. He always enjoyed hearing music and dancing, but never thought about becoming a musician until he started playing piano in the 5th grade.

It wasn't until high school where he learned the art of rhyming. Once he wrote his first rap, he was addicted. The following summer he formed a crew of his best friends to become The Darkstakers, making music just on an old tape recorder and dubbed beats.

It didn't last long since he was the only serious rapper in the group. So he continued to make his own music, honing his skills and studying the art.
Soon, he became The International Champion Of the Night...or the I.C.O.N..the product of constant battles with himself and the dramatic cinema that has been known as his life.. making a vow to save the genre of hip hop from being tainted and destroyed...

Now residing in Lynnwood, Wa a suburb of Seattle, he continues to spread his legacy cross-country where he hones his talent with the inspiration of both coasts in which he calls home.

This is the intro to Dark Rap....it's real hip-hop mixed with soul, hardcore, creativity, and a bit of raunchiness mixed with humanism....the way it should be...
