- Tephlon James was Born in San Bernardino 04-16-1980. started listening to rap music as a kid, (Digital Underground, LL Cool J, 2 Livew Crew, N.W.A Kriss Kross,) in his Teen age Years he got inspired to Rap by Artists like: Tupac Shakur, Notorius B.I.G, Das Efx, Nas and Method Man, Tephlon James Started Writing Rhymes in 1995, shortly after his Writing came to a halt, and he begin just Freestyle Rapping, he started freestyling at partys, his Homie Gambino begin Freestyling and as well, Tephlon, Gambino, Ike Jersey, and Spirit Formed the Rap Group Imfamy in 1997. In 2000 Infamy split up and Tephlon James and Gambino AKA Clipshot formed The Group Tephlon And Gambino and Signed a Record Deal with Hype Hop Productions / Cold Funky Records, They recorded 4 Singles ("All Night', 'Check It Out", "Streets Is Hot" and "Lighten Up The Night". Layzie Bone from Bone Thugs N Harmony Heard There Single and invited them to Open Up for Him On His Upcoming Tour For His Aolbum "Thug By Nature" Tephlon And Gambino Toured With Layzie Bone in 2000. In 2001 Hype Hop Productions wanted to kick Gambino out The Group and Record Tephlon Solo ,Tephlon refused and left with Gambino,Having no Studio Tephlon got Frustrated and started Buying Music Equipment (Keyboards, Mics, Etc. Tephlon started creating Beats and doing The production of there Music. In 2001 Tephlon started The Rap Group Bill Collectaz (Tephlon James, Gambino AKA Clipshot, and Madness) . bY 2004 Bill Collectaz had 9 Members, Tephlon James, Clipshot AKA Gambino, Big K, Zag AKA Tiny Zig Zag, Liticha AKA Young Lit, Price One, The One, Mr. 5 Duece, and Madness. That number dropped down to 4 in 2006. Group remained 4 Members Tephlon, Gambino, Tiny Zag, and Madness untill 2010, Then became 2 members, Tephlon and Gambino, in 2012 Tephlon went Solo and is Currently Working On Albums as a Solo Artist.
