- About Me
- I am Tauri Morrow the Artist, a songwriter, musician, and artist currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina where I attended Crest High School and graduated in 2000. I was first introduced to music when my mom started me in piano lessons. Soon after I began piano lessons, my music teacher, Yvonne Beam, noticed I had a gift in music. Mrs. Beam expressed to my mom how naturally gifted I was in music, and encouraged me to continue to enhance my God given gift. After high school I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I graduated in 2005.
After collage and being in the workforce, my passion for music never died. I have been playing music for over 20 years and I'm very passionate about music and writing. I play the keyboard, bass and drums. I am currently attending Full Sail University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Music Production.
As an adult, I am working diligently towards my musical goals. I would like to become a writer for popular artists, produce songs, as well as continue to develop and sharpen my own artistry. I identify myself as Tauri Morrow the Artist because I consider the world to be my canvas. I plan on painting the world with my music and my artistry. The gallery is just getting started and the journey has only just begun. Enjoy the ride!
