About Me
Well, Morbid Roots began a long time ago...
But we'll retake the story in 2010 when Eddie, after founding Morbid Roots years back, found Manolol.
A Few months later, he contacted Manolol and got together to ressurect Morbid Roots alongside active members Bernie and LuPo; they also contacted Jp (Manolol's brother) to join them on the bass, thus having again a full Morbid Roots.
After only little time together they entered a battle of the bands at Bulldog Cafe Mexico City where they won first prize: the recording of an album.
After this due to personal problems, Manolol had to quit the band and was replaced by Emilio (ex-Apogee of Despair) which was again switched back to Manolol a few months after.
With the Morbid Roots complete again, they played at Romma Music Club, in October 2011; this is when Jp decided to leave the band.
After a long search they found Diego who is currently Morbid Roots' bass player. With him they played at the Metropolitan as the opening act for "La Castañeda" (Mexican Rock Band). This was Bernie's Last gig with us.
Currently, Morbid Roots is finishing all the material to record their debut cd: Massive Extinction Event on march 23rd with the current line up:
Eddie (Morbid) - Strings
LuPo (Chuga) - Vocals
Diego - Fat Strings
Manolol - Drums
These are the past members of Morbid Roots to which we owe a lot and could not get to where we are without them:
Rene - Bass
Diego - Vocals
Bernnie/Berggie- Guitar
Jp - Bass
Emilio - Drums
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rene - Bajo
Diego - Voz
Bernnie/Berggie- Guitarra
Jp- Bajo
Emilio - Bateria
