- About Me
- Daniel Fierro known professionally as "MEX" is a 24 year old, self professed Jesus Freak who recently graduated from Madison Media Institute with an Associates degree in recording and music technology. The talented MEX grew up with a dream of performing music for people everywhere.
Music started at a young age for MEX when he began writing poems and taking a look at the world to try to capture the moment on paper. In middle school, he formed a boy band called, "Step 3," along with his brother. For a couple of years they enjoyed singing at birthday parties and recording a short demo.
Years later after giving himself to God, MEX started incorporating his technique for writing poems into Hip Hop. God gave him a vision to share his testimony and the Word of God to the younger generations everywhere.

“Daniel , a 2003 alumnus of Rawhide, returned for his third visit to Rawhide this year on September 17. This marked a special occasion for him because he graduated from Madison Media Institute the following week. Daniel, who goes by the stage name “Mex,” was also signed to a music label this past summer and will be releasing his first professional album: “Mad City-Holy Ghost Ready” in October. When he performed for the guys, he was able to once again share his powerful testimony about what it takes to succeed in life after Rawhide.”
