- BIO OF KCHICAGO:
Born Julious McCallum, July 11, 1985 on the Westside of Chicago. His name kchicago come from the style and delievery of rap he have along with his loyalty and love for the city Chicago. Kchicago has 2 meanings to the name. 1st meaning behind the name kchicago is that the K is silent as so the K in knowlegde is silent. So therefore the 2nd meaning of kchicago is the knowlegde of chicago (the city).
Kchicago has been into Hip Hop since day one and has been involved in rap since 1998 after moving to the suburbs of Chicago. After seening others' doing the samething and on the same page he was, kchicago decided to take it more serious. 2001 kchicago started on his road to success by recording his first song in a perfessional studio. After being in that position, things started to get a little more interesting to him and the career he started. After years and years of struggling and disappointments, kchicago kept pushing on. 2004 kchicago had his first live performes at the Taste of Austin on the westside of Chicago. All the love and support kchicago received, he continued recording hits after hits and doing shows after shows. 2005 kchicago joined the independent group Baller Status. The years of beeing with Baller Status, kchicago and baller status got the opportunity to perform at the 2006 Hip Hop and R&B Billboard awards in Atlanta GA. After 2 years of being with Baller Status, kchicago decided to go solo and finish what he start in 2000. 2007 kchicago released his first solo album intittled "Loose Squares", with the hit single "That boy nasty". Kchicago buzz and fan base became more bigger as the years went on. With the release of his independent record company "Silent But Deadly Entertainment" and mixtape intittled "A Taste Of, Kchicago" in 2010 his face and name became talked about around the city and suburbs of chicago. With the dream of becoming the next thing coming from chicago, he will not stop until that happens. 2011 kchicago became affiliated with the "Crucon Family" (Crucial Conflict). With a dollar and a dream anything can happen at this point. This is far from the end of the road for this new and upcoming talented chicago hip hop artist. "Kchicago"
