About Me
Jordan Cortes, (born November 12 1996) better known for his stage name J-Starr The Prince, is an American hip hop recording artist & songwriter. Born & raised in Queens New York the son of two Puerto Rican Brooklyn natives Jordan began rapping at the age of 11. In 2011 he remixed the already popular bachata hit by Romeo Santos "El Malo" turning it into hip hop and getting some recognition on you tube and social media. He later increased his prominence as a rapper releasing song after song on you tube leading to the present day release of his single "What I Need" off his debut EP self titled J-Starr "The Prince". The official "What I Need" video had over 10000 views & the EP had over 500 digital downloads in less then a month. With the anticipated debut mixtape "Sixteen" coming soon its safe to say that Jordan "J-Starr The Prince" Cortes is prepared and determined to pursue his career as a solo artist
