- About Me
- Jacqueleen is self-taught on guitar and writes songs in diverse genres including R&B, country, jazz, rock, pop, Christian contemporary and folk. She is forever discovering herself and never says no when the creative challenge presents itself. Jacqueleen even surprised herself because she never knew that she could scream out a rock tune, write country songs, belt a gospel tune, throw down on a theatrical piece, slam her own tracks, produce a show, write poetry and monologues, until she just leaped into it. She is has written and collaborated with a myriad of musicians.
Jacqueleen is currently writing songs for her CD project. She writes intelligent lyrics, strong melodies, and hooks and expresses her heart through song. Some of her favorites songwriters are Pharrell William, Roberta Flack, John Legend, Smokey Robinson, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Carol King to name a few.
Jacqueleen enjoys performing live and looks forward to pitching songs to top artists, for film, TV and commercials. She is just what this industry has been waiting for… a breath of fresh air.
