- "One to look out for", Darker Still with their debut album in hand, are out hitting stages and making fans. "Never Too Late" is an album that delivers to all audiences! Rock music has returned. Andy Frisk of Shutter 16 magazine describes Darker Still as "easily one of the best bands on Reverbnation". Darker Still formed in Orillia, Ontario, Canada in 2011. Tony Bertucci, Quinn Lockman, Patrick Lockman and Michael Tsourlis have combined their love of classic and of modern rock to bring their music flooding through the airwaves and straight into your head!
Tony, Patrick, Quinn and Mike have many years of experience singing and performing together as well as in previous bands.
Through television, magazine and newspaper interviews, airplay on local and online radio and features on web magazines (ie: College Underground Magazine 2015), word is spreading about this "modern rock band with a sound that mirrors some [of the] greats (Canada's Music, 2015). After placing 6th in Canada in Hardrock Rising 2012, a global battle of the bands, Darker Still performed at the Hardrock Cafe in Toronto. In the 2014 International Songwriting Competition, the band's song "I Had It All " placed in the semifinals for best rock song. They are in the June 2015 issue of Relix Magazine and are on the cd in the magazine with artists such as Tame Impala. Darker Still has opened for Zeus and for Jeff Martin. They have been a featured artist on TMB or The Music Box, as requested by fans. Darker Still was then included on the compilation cd that was distributed to The Music Box subscribers in Debember 2015.
After putting a tremendous effort into recording their album Never Too Late, Darker Still is putting even greater effort into making it a success. Every show is an event! Come witness what everyone is talking about.
