About Me
Heya! My parent’s named me Alexandra Melissa Schaff, but you can call me Ali Melissa. I’m just a 23-year-old southern girl with a dream, a guitar, a notebook, and a whole lot to say. Solely, I just want to make a change. I want others to feel what i feel when i play. I'm constantly wishing everyone would see the beauty words, like i do. And as im trying to get my voice heard more, ive seen more people relate to words that i write, and its incredible. I want to help someone through a rough time, with the words that i write because that's what my favorite artists' did for me growing up.

I have an entire album written, im just working on recording it all. That title is "The Most Dangerous Ways." I plan on releasing an EP soon, still deciding on that title.

I wish I could tell you the year I started writing music, but that’s a huge blur. I’ve been writing and singing ever since I can remember. I bought my first guitar when i was 13. I was graduating 8th grade and with the money my grandparents gave me, i bought my friend's acoustic fender. I messed around nad took a full lessons (along with vocal lessons), but i didnt truly pick up guitar until around my sophomore year of highschool. And…needless to say, I can’t put it down. Ive gone to Loyola University for Mass Communications, born and raised in the wonderful city of New Orleans. So, I guess you could say that I grew up around amazing music influences. I write about what I know best, which is honestly, life experiences that happen to me. I put all of my passion into the music I create and I hope that you can enjoy it. My music tells a different side of me that no one sees, and I’m letting you see that firsthand. Especially in my live performances - Ill be posting them on here as they come up. But ive got to say the best memory of playing live yet was at the Marlboro Ranch in front of hundreds of people. Gosh, i love that feeling. I come to life when i play my music. So watch me transform - there’s a whole lot more to come, stay tuned.
