In order to build a good reputation you must have a strong sense of integrity. Here are some key Points…

• If you are invited to perform, show up on time. Your character as being a dependable artist rest on it. This simple non-negotiable trait will get you more opportunities/gigs.

• Know your worth. Just because there’s an opportunity for you to perform, that does not mean you should always accept the engagement.

• Ensure the venue is appropriate for your art and the proper accommodations have been established.

• Now I know that I may be giving points that are as if you are a professional Artist; however, YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST.

• MONEY DOES NOT DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A PRO. Your character, standards, integrity, dependability, time management (of your art) and so on is what makes you a professional. THE MONEY WILL FOLLOW…..

   

• When you are creating your music/art, ensure the sound quality is the best you can make it. Most of us do not have the funds to always make it to a big studio so  soon I will be uploading a video showing some simple ways of constructing a studio. I share how you can build a studio between 50-100 dollars.
