Band Wars 2012 is only a few weeks away.

THREE "Special Guest Bands" will open the event with TEN great bands hitting the stage to battle in Band Wars 2012. All the bands are involved to showcase their talents and support a great cause. Music is an important part of most peoples lives and it is our responsibility to help support our younger musicians develop their talents for the future.

This year our charity of choice will be the EASTERN PASSAGE EDUCATION CENTRE students music program. Due to government cutbacks in funding of school music programs and our passion for music we have made this school our cause. Next year we hope to help support other schools in the HRM area.

Our event goal is to raise minimal $2400 which will affored the school to purchase a SP250 BLACK KORG - BLACK DIGITAL PIANO and a YTS26 YAMAHA TENOR SAXAPHONE plus other small music instrument needs

We are extremely excited to announce the the radio stations of MBS Radio,HAL 89.9 and FX 101.9 Country have joined our efforts to make this event a huge success. SO WELD YOUR RADIO CHANNEL ONTO

HOW ARE WE GOING TO REACH OUR GOAL?

The net proceeds from the door,donations,50/50 draws,kitchen,and possible raffle draw will be given directly to the EPEC School music program.

We are also offering you the chance to donate a playable musical instruments at the door in place of the admission. There will be a list posted here on facebook regarding musical instruments needed from the shools very soon. These instruments will be donated to the school and other charitable music groups if possible.

There will also be an "Acoustic Corner"on our Club Side for those of you who would like to enjoy another type of music. "Acoustic Corner" offers the musicians who are currently not on stage a chance to showcase other musical talents as well as some of our great local talent will be on stage.

Admission $10.00,pre event tickets will be on sale at The Buffalo Club bar and after March 19 from each of the posted bands.

The Band Wars 2012 Team has the right to make changes which will be posted on facebook once confirmed
