There is an amazing source of Free Beats on the market just waiting for the right Artist to take advantage of them.  Free Beats are a way a producer gets her/his beats and name known and a great way to build networking relationships with artists and other professionals.   Taking advantage free beat marketing can ease budget by making a Mix tape or a demo.

If you are an artist and you do a search on any of the top ranking search engines for beating you will see a plethora of free beat offers from producers in many genres. You may think,"if  the music is free is must not be of value". That is not necessarily true. Many producers on the Internet that lease beats offer some of their best music for free. When you think about it, that is a win win situation for the artist and the producer. For the producer offering free beats is a great way for an unknown producer to get her or his music in the hands of a talented artist. It only takes the right beat and the right artist to meld to create the perfect track. Many of the brightest producers understand that giving free beats away is one of the most powerful tools that a producer can use to build networking relationships in the music industry. Artist that uses your music will gladly allow the producer to "tag" their beat with a vocal or instrumental riff that is used as a producer identifier or manually add a,"shout out", by saying the producer's name on the track as way saying thanks for supplying  the free beat.
The usage of free beats is an inexpensive way to acquire the right music for a mix tape or demo. You as an artist should never shy away from using a free beat for a project to ease the financial strains on production.  If you need to acquire 15  beats for a mix tape at a cost of $15.00 per beat comes out to a total of $225.00. You may use those funds to promote your music and come out ahead.
Building networking relationships are key to establishing a place for yourself in the music industry.  Supermarkets use free samples, all the time, to lure customers to try a newly undiscovered product.  When a customer tries the product they  are not concerned if the food is free or not it is simply consumed. This free offering is done over and over again and customers consume them over and over again with one singular thought, "take it, it is free. You as an artist must take advantage of free music promotions.
Producers need you as an artist to push their music why not use free beats to your advantage.

R.I.P., SCOTT TUCHBAND (1952 - 2024)

In 1976, I, Elliott Michaels, sang and played organ in a Brooklyn band known as FIREFLY. After months of speculation, it has become apparent to me that Firefly founder and my friend and musical collaborator SCOTT TUCHBAND has finally died, succumbing to a number of illnesses. Mr. Tuchband co-wrote most of the original songs we played in Firefly, in collaboration with his friend and neighbor Joseph Bolnick. Scott went on to play in a number of other bands and musical groups such as Kashmir,…See More
