About Me
Hmmmm about me, well, my name is Lori; I was born in 1981 to Avis and Big Tony Fisher (lead vocal and bass...Trouble Funk).
I grew up in both Washington,DC and PG County Maryland.

Growing up with a father as a musician, I was always surrounded by music. But in the mid to late 80's I started noticing folks like "BOSS", "YOYO", "MONI LOVE", "MC LYTE"...you get the pic. These ladies awed me because all I was familiar with was hearing male emcees.

I started writing poetry at a very young as an outlet, both positive and negative. Later in life I would have experiences that prompted me to turn my poetry into stories.

Now at 34, I'm creating a buzz on the DC underground scene. I got my start under the all star group HMG (HOWIE MUSIC GROUP...HOLD ON WE'RE IN EFFECT MUSIC GROUP). While with HMG I featured in my first office video "How We Supposed To Make It " (available on YouTube), and recorded some hot tracks and featured on quitE a few track with other dope artist from the area. I've performed shows at various venues in the DMV area, including Liv Nightclub for Howard Homecoming.

After a "family" situation within the group, I decided that I wanted to continue learning and doing business as a solo artist. HMG still is and will always be my family "one eat we all eat".

In 2016 I will be building a campaign leading to the release of my project that I will keep a mystery for now..but I'm here to bring back the kind of music I remember from those grateful ladies from the 80's, but in a way that will catch this generations attention.

I'm a writer and poet presenting my work as a emcee.
