Connor Shaw is a self taught singer,songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Who played his first gig at the young age of fourteen, in Arizona where he was born and raised. After a succesful acoustic album and years of touring with many bands. He moved to California in his twenties to learn and work with some very talented, and respected producers. In between LA and Southern California, he was working as a full time session player and sound engineer. Working with the likes of MundySound, Craig Nepp, Jim Perkins, Stëv Skye & many more. He honed his craft as a producer as well. During the little free time that he had, he started posting originals, covers & guitar solos on YouTube & quickly developed a strong following with over 4 million total video views. And also one of the first solo musicians to become a YouTube Partner. You can hear the years of passion & sound in the many diverse styles of music he writes, records, produces and performs. From a small & personal acoustic set, to a full out in your face DJ set at a large music festival. His most recent music success has been not only for the few songs released in anticipation of his next album, Digital Dream due out in February. But for starting OwnIt Productions, where he is working with combining the most talented of artist from all over the world. Mainstream media that caters to black people push the fact that success is making it to the NBA, NFL and being a rapper and selling drugs. I feel somehow we need to change that. Its a small percentage of people who will make it to be in the NBA, NFL or a rapper or in the music industry. And no one should believe that selling drugs will help them to become successful.
