Well I went this afternoon to get my arm checked out. It's always been a problem that I've tried to live with but now getting worse. In 2005 & early 2006 I had it looked @ twice after being hit by a car, both @ the we that day & then @ the orthopedic dr who also treated my broken leg @ the time. Neither of them found anything wrong with it. So hopefully today ilk get some answers.

The Dr did X rays on it & they don't show anything. But she was really nice about it & ordered me an MRI. They will be calling me in the morning with the date & time for the MRI + the date for a follow up appointment 2 days later to discuss it. She said that most likely the reason the pain in my arm is going from elbow to shoulder, the other way around actually. Is because there is probably inflammation in the shoulder + with a possible tear in the rotater cuff causes shoulder spasms. So the spasms cause the pain + my hand to become number or go to sleep which I experience often. The reason is because the spasms cause the muscle to press on the nerve. She also said that's where the limp feeling I get comes from also. She gave me a steroid shot & pain shot. The steroid shot should kick in by the weekend & pain shot should last 24-48 hours. She said that depending how bad I will either need surgery or shots & physical therapy. Will post updates.
