Stanley Alston is an American recording artist. He has been in the industry for more then forty years. His first musical performance was at the tender age of thirteen; Opening for such artist as the Manhattans, the late Phyllis Hyman and Al Green.
Since that time Stan has traveled the US from Atlantic City, New York, Chicago, California and Las Vegas. He has performed with legends such as Cuba Gooding Sr., Blood Stone, Peaches & Herb, The Delfonics, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers the Mystic's; And his childhood favorite Russell Thompkins Jr. and the Stylistics.
He has off Broadway experience with the life story of Thomas Dorsey the man, who created gospel music; where he performed with such people as Loretta Devine, Margo Moorer, and Phyllis Stickney.
As a writer he has created songs for AT&T, WJZ TV in Baltimore. He has won awards from TDK and the International Society of Poets for his writing skills. His five octave range voice, that has been used on emergency operator services world- wide via AT&T. He has been tutored in broadcast communications, by Michael Buffer and holds an FCC License.
To date Stan has released nine music CD's and two books. He is currently signed to Famous Records with International Distribution. With a voice that is Angelic you would be hard pressed not to recognize the most diverse vocalist in the industry today.
What does Stan sound like? The answer to that is easy, he can sound like anything you can dream or image. From Jazz, to deep Blues or Latin soul with five octaves he can bring it. Now relax and enjoy the soul stirring sounds of The Alston Experience.
