- You've never seen anything like them. Lamont Powell aka KuntryMan and Barry Savage are two longtime friends from North Carolina who formed a production group called DA Super Entertainers. And the name says it all - they are producers, songwriters, artists, performers, well respected hit makers and musical masterminds in general.
Da Super Entertainers, have worked with national platinum record selling producers and notable artists including Chucky Thompson (Biggie “Ready to Die”, Faith Evans, Nas “One Mic”, Mary J Blige, Shine etc.) grammy award winning engineer Joe The Butcher (Fugees, Cypress Hill, Lauryn Hill, Kris Kross etc.), Timmy Allen (R Kelly“12 Play”, ‘N Sync, Britney Spears), Das EFX, Amerie, Carl Thomas, Joe and Mystikal. Industry insiders and tastemakers have called the DA Super Entertainers the "REAL DEAL" drawing comparisons to the legendary producing duos Gamble & Huff, L.A. Reid & Babyface, and Timbaland & Missy Elliott.
Independently minded and determined to build their own legacy from the ground up, Savage & Kuntry are setting the streets on fire with their new double full length album, one side R&B and one side hip-hop - a feat being done for the first time ever, thus proving that they truly are "DA Super Entertainers". The project includes appearances from local legends and soon to be worldwide artist like Shook Da Crook, 2hun, Odigger, Big Knock, Drt Rotten, and Sac aka 9Duce. Other artists include Drt Raw, Q.C, Mic Gottem, Logic, Al Chauncy aka Bloodline and many more. Their current joint “This Shit Crazy” is burning up the radio in North Carolina and has the makings of a mega hit. This gritty, metaphorical and infectious song about the love of music and the streets makes an impression from the first note to the last.
