About Me
Born in Manhattan, KS but raised in Rochester, N.Y., but spent the last 17 years in Buffalo raising my kids. Alot of musical abilities came from Florida. Im currently employed at Amazon Prime and for a hobby I create music. Ive been diagnosed with Epilepsy so my goal for the music is to create and help the public who suffer from mental health. As time pasted on the artist known as Mononeau (Mono-Knew) Styles. Mononeau- Enlighten one of many. I'm looking to learn more genres of music to fill my ambition. Back in 8th grade, I used to beat box on stage in front of most of the school. I also can make drumlines with the hand taps. It's not just technology you can use to make music, you can utilize the entire body.
From 2004-2008, I served as a US Marine. Stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC. One tour in Fallujah, Iraq, which jogged my memory when music actually came into my life.
I started soundbending 12 years ago, and taught myself with youtube. I know I gotta alot to learn, so eventually my goals are to go to school or find online classes. My first instrumental cd was Brown VS Styles, which is a battle between Gabriel Brown & the artist name Mononeau Styles that included the singles Eye Of Horus (curated) and Rise Of The HawkMan. I'm a huge Avatar: The Last Airbender fan, which is where I created soundbending- the art of making music, for my talent. The name kind of stuck and grew on me, due to the fact I used legato on 80% of my beats. I'm a very unique individual full of ideas and personal goals to climb. It's time to rise....
