About Me
Bocca Musica is an international, award-winning, band that is proud to be from Metro Detroit.

Bocca Musica (Music of the Mouth) was formed in the fall of 1996 and gradually transformed from an a cappella, Renaissance quintet into a bawdy musical comedy act, featuring four to six entertainers, with a focus on drinking songs! However, the multi-faceted band branched out into the world of traditional, Celtic, pirate and shanty music. They have been inspired to write many original tunes, in several different genres, and have a unique flair for arranging music. All this has led to their ongoing success!

Bocca has been featured from the Mid-West to Key West, from Canada to the Caribbean. Due to the eclectic style of the band, they have played a wide variety of venues including but not limited to:

With 12 CD’s and 5 DVD’s released over the years Bocca has been featured on several national podcasts, compilation CD's and in the local news. They were honored by their fans who voted for them to receive recognition on the Renaissance Festival Podcast Awards in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
No matter where Bocca goes they are known for their high energy, tight harmonies and bawdy sense of humour!
