- About Me
- I started at Poze Productions as an intern 8 years ago. For the first 2 weeks, KJ and I drove to over states and I payed for gas. He spends certain months teaching intercity kid schools without music programs. Beginning music, I just happened to be caught in that cycle month. for the first week we drove in silence for most of the places. The schools looked forward to these moments; I didn't seem like a gopher, but more like a side kick.
I was also thwere as KJ produced artists from scratch. He met with them, talked to them, got to know them,And helped them create themselves, as well as their music. KJ worked with Talisa 2 months for a year without accepting a penny. I watched her get 2 record deals as well as many more artists. Her song was able to reach 500,000 hits in no time. KJ is well respected and most artists that he has secretly gotten record deals come back for advice or even to manage them. We all were made to take his classes in music management. It took 7 years to achieve his record deal. So he played his dues, so to speak.
Why are we taught this? Why can’t the average Joe next door, whom has a much talent and sound just as good, why don’t the record companies give them a chance. This business is 90% business and 10%talent.
