I would like to talk about a four letter word we often use, talk about, cry over, laugh over, and the list goes on and on. 

We are talking about T.I.M.E.  We often here time waits for no one, time flies, running out of time or even to much time.  We can go on and on talking about the many forms that we use the scope of time; however, we what to focus on how we as Unsigned Artist can MASTER TIME. 

I dare not sit here and tell you I have mastered time, this write up is for me as much as it is for anyone. 

When dealing with time we must be in total control of the ideals of our time.  Let me explain: If we know or have an ideal on what direction we want to go with our music, we cannot waste time on unproductive issues that we can avoid if we put forth effort. Example: We know that there is a better way to create our sound, then do not half-step.  Your first impression is what the industry will remember.  Look at the reality shows (The Voice, X-Factor, You Got Talent) if those artist that did not make it would have put their best foot forward, they may have been recognized in a positive way.  Now don’t get me wrong, maybe they did put their best foot forward, so in saying it that way, DON’T WASTE TIME ON THINGS YOU CANNOT CONTROL.  MOVE FORWARD.

As artist we must have insight on our direction.  If you know of someone that did it in a particular way, and was not successful, then take note and make your adjustments to be successful.  Don’t repeat their mistakes.

In this industry, you have to have endurance.  Just because you sound good to yourself, that does not mean someone of interest is going to feel the same way.  As Unsigned Artist we must be maturity enough to know that “ONE NO MEANS = TWO YESES”.

We are talking about time.  We can go on and on, but we will stop here.
