- Native New Yorker from the South Bronx, songwriter, composer, percussionist, keyboardist, producer of Pop, Latin Pop, R&B, Jazz Fusion, Afro-Cuban, Adult Contemporary, Love Ballads, Pop/Country, Instrumental, Urban/R&B, World, and Soft Rock music. Julio has over 25 years of extensive performance experience with many well known artist throughout the U.S. Puerto Rico, and Europe. He is the Executive Producer of The Julio Matta Project, an experimental musical project, which goals are to produce both music and music videos with the musical talents of musicians, singers, and performers from as many nations interested in joining a musical movement non-genre specific. The goal is to create a universal sound through the talents of individuals from a global music network unique in sound but worldly and captivating. The Julio Matta Project's goals is to produce music for licensing for TV, Commercial, Movies, Sporting events, Soap Opera, and games yet leaving all avenues open for the opportunity for live performances through the creation of a multi-cultural musical entity.
