About Me
Jim Platt has been writing for 10 years and playing guitar for 14 years...He has had a band Called Autumn Lane which was when his first real writing came along with songs "Immortal" and "Time" from the cd "Reflections" after they split.. jim kept going by himself and recorded his next cd "The Long Forgotten Road" which featured songs.."Everyday", "Average Superstar", and "Moonlight Over Madison" af...ter that he got tired of doing demos.. so once laid off from work he got to writing and recorded his first full length Cd Known as "Led By Grace" which featured songs "Vanilla Sky", "Her Lullaby", and "My Farewell" after the Cd was finished jim already had new songs on the rise which led him into his next Cd called "Tea For Two" which was the first cd that featured a song named after the Cd itself... the Cd featured Songs "Keep On Carry On", "You Left Me", "Tea For Two", "Textbook Love Song"....Recently he finished up his third full length cd called "Accepted" Featuring "This Is Life", "Accepted", "She's Slipping Away" and "Don't Walk Away" since then Jim has written fresh new upbeat music such as Storm Clouds On The Horizon (now The Horizon), I Wanna Get Stoned, Phases...since his trip to NYC in 2009 to play a gig there, he has followed his beatles roots and kept on writing and writing...now after two years off Jim is currently in the Studio Working on a new EP "Moving Through The Ages.. which will feature the ballad "All Alone In My Dreams, The Edgey Drama Queen The Rock&Roll style of The Horizon an Radio Dream the soothing sound of Subtle Footsteps and the old 60s style of Cherry Blossom Girl and Let it Go... ....currently Jim is booking shows and looking for any kind of help to continue his journey in music...
