- Dasha began her musical ministry at age 2. She began singing in the church where her mother was the musician and continuing the legacy of her father who was also a gospel singer and recording artist. Peyton was so little she had to stand on a chair to reach the microphone as she sang lead in front of a thirty voice choir
Dasha continued her spirit-filled music ministry by joining the world famous Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago, @ seven years old, where she took center stage at many celebrated events. Staying right on Gods course, Dasha joined, Ricky Dillard’s New Generation Chorale aka New “G”.
Dasha has sung nationally and internationally, in the United States and Europe.
Dasha astonished the music world with her melodious voice when she sung background for some of gospels greats. Dasha has shared the stage with a variety of community choirs and well known gospel groups and singers.
Dasha church affiliation is the Christ Universal Temple subscribing to the principles taught by the Rev.Dr.Johnnie L. Coleman.
Dasha’s love of music is truly “Amazing “making this release a very special CD. You can hear the victory and courage in every song. Every aspect of Dasha life has expressed her love for music. There is no mistake; Dasha has truly been blessed with a God gifted talent. We know that it is time for the world to hear her voice!
