- Christopher Capiche Robbin, born and raised in the Brooklyn Projects of Fort Greene. At a tender young age the love for the arts was apparent. Taking a passion for drawing and painting, the then young Chris Robb didn't take a passion for music until his teens even though music was always present growing up. "I still remember those days when Moma use to wake us up with the smell of breakfast cooking while her Luther Vandross and Patti Labelle records played" Recalls Chris Robb. "Those days helped shaped the Man I am today and the sound and style of music I like to make". And it's evident when you listen to songs like "You Know You Got it" and "Money". Those songs have that classic back in the day feel when music was music. "I get approached by people that listen to my music online and in the streets and they say to me keep it up. You and them boys at UpTopRec are on to something big. You guys putting the soul back into music". Like when I hear that I know I'm on the right path no matter how hard the struggle to the top is.
