Biography
CEO of Yellow Tape Productions and artist, Carte Blanche also known as Jermaine O Farrell, is coming back to the music industry with his excellent lyrical and musical backing to show the world that he isn’t under the label of West Coast artist, he isn’t under the label of a Hip-hop artist, but he’s an artist that is world-wide.
“I consider myself an artist, no label, when they call you a West Coast artist, they put you in a box. I want to be a World Wide Artist so my music can touch everyone without the scrutiny of labeling.”
Being born in Gardena, California but raised in Los Angeles, California and now, taking his brilliant skill to the next level, Carte Blanche isn’t just another South Central Rapper, but a top class entertainer. The 29 year old started with the love of music when he was in the 5th grade wanting to create great inspired composition after listening to Thuggish Ruggish Bone on the radio leaving him knowing he had skills of those measures. With him being raised in music, and his two uncles, Williard King and Melvin King who also received platinum plaques, Carte Blanche set out on his own musical voyage to do what he dreamed. At the age of 17 years old he did his first show, where 5000 people showed up and won a talent show in Las Vegas.
With musical influences such as Ice Cube, 2 pac, Mobb Deep, and E40, Carte Blanche succeeded in making great music that the fans and world will always enjoy and understand. Co-founding Yellow Tape Productions in 2007 with other artist such as, Shell Shock, Tony Jones, RamaDon and Beach Jay and opening up for Wu-Tang Clan in Holly Wood with an audience of 800-1000 people, Carte Blanche has proved that his performing is a highlight of his music career.

Carte Blanche has met so many great artist/performers and inspirational people, such as Bad Azz, Nipsey Hustle, Ice Cube, Rass B from B2k, and TC Islam, and has strived to keep his word in perfecting his craft to a standard of being branded the best in his field. Carte Blanche isn’t new to the game, his release of two mix tapes, Tape Caution volume 1 and Tape Caution Volume 2 shows that he can lace a hot beat with his lyrics and creative notion of bringing to life his love for music. His album, Unrestricted Authority, shows the range of what he can do. Carte blanche is a fun, real Artist that does what he does for the love of it. Carte Blanche has 5 mixtapes ready to go:
