If nothing else, it has been over and eye opening year for Bahamian born songwritter Ansil. In addition to recording one of the most arm felt singles of 2009, the soft "Burning" (which Ansil wish one day have bass bumped out of more car windows while igniting a slew of barbeques), she won over the masses with her charming attidute.
"So much to look foward for and my life, I feel like I've haven't got to where I need to be yet," she smiled. Not giving up, by the time I give Def Jam or any populare Record labe my Records I will get released Ansil my debut Album "Strong", it was obvious that Ansil wasn't going to let go that easy. With a work ethic reminiscent of Miami Edison talent show back in the day when soul Brandy was supreme, Ansil traveled throughout the citys.
2011 saw Ansil singing the Mic night on stag where her brother performed, making crowds sweat in Little Haitti, posing for magazine covers in hood in Fl and shooting her Music Video for Shower. This was a long way from the hard life she new in Miami also in the Big apple they call New york City. Lisna Lohas Jean, come through her musical initiation process unscathed. she performed at Time quare in Manhattan and now she is ready to poised for everything that 2006 may hold as she driven to do it again with her sophomore release Million Reasons.
"I cried alot this past year. I had my reasons. To pursue my dreams, and with no support, I left my entire family in Miami to move to the New york city. It was a little scary to have no friends or family and all of a sudden step into a Jam Box recording studio," flip my name backward in recalled Ansil.
"2000 taught me the dedication and responsibility it takes to make this dream a reality. Wakeing up at 5:00 am to start rehearsals, Vocal training, perparing for a New Baby, Marrage,School H.S.C.T for graduation June 15 2000, money for video's, going to work at all day; it always seemed glamorous but it is real work and money spent. My love for music and my kids will never change."
"Many praying over the past year, I didn't have anyone but God and a Lap top and my age with me. When recording this album, I wanted it to seem like I was having a personal conversation with victoms,"says Ansil. "People think, because we're young, we aren't complex, but that's not true. We deal with life and love and broken hearts in the same way a person a few years older might. My goal with the song "PETIFILE" was to find songs that express the many things young women,young male older and chilren victoms want to say, but might not know how."
Dropping from the heavens to the groovalistic dance floor, Ansil has returned with another single that will have listeners begging the D.J to play it one more time. Produced by Her self, the sizzling " Dry Bone me, and Belt agenst my G.sing line" is bringing the summer heat early this year. With its hypnotic beat and enticing melody, Dry Bone me, and Belt agenst my G.sing line" utilizes the electro-funk of Soft Cell's '80s classic "Will Love again" to create a soulful anthem of Broken marrage.
"I got excited when I first heard this track and three days later, it was recorded," Ansil says. Turning heads with its realisic style, "Dry Bone me", and "Belt agenst my G.sing line" has to be used in clubs she say's, so it can be view every where.
Focusing on progressing as an artist, Ansil has recorded a compelling track of betrail called "Hornable Judge." the tragic decay of a relationship when another person point the finger at the anicent in miss the real victom fight because of other people who lied there way through causeing the one who didn't lie to apear as a liar after dealing with there cheating spouse.
Perhaps the most surprising track is was "Tom Boy." During the recording of "Fore Head", Ansil Grayhound ticket to Miami to record with Gary while giving an ote "Love you, but." Smiling, Ansil explains, "I have so much respect and love for Man. my Husband made me realize not all man are selfish but some are and want you to drop everything but I didn't,I realize this earily before going into a studio, which was an amazing experience.
With "Live the way I live", the beautiful singer proves that her breakthrough was no fluke. never giving up was a keeper, once again, the dream belongs to Ansil
