Profile Information

About Me: From banging on the school desk to freestyling over
instrumentals, rap has always been a diversion for a
troublesome childhood. This was an escape for Biggz as
the only male child. The Savannah, Ga native (born Robert
Purvis) quickly became a product of the environment.
Refusing direction, Biggz turned to a life of emptiness.
It was this lifestyle that motivate him to choose a new
path--leading towards the rap industry.

However, what started out as a fantasy became something
much serious. What once seemed to be unattainable now
seems to be tangible - the kind of reality Biggz yearns
for.

Trouble always find Biggz in Savannah, in the streets are
in school. His mother would punish him sending him to his
room. It was then when Biggz would lose himself in the
lyrics of LL Cool J and Chuck D studying there flow to
spit with the same tenacity. However, not before long
Biggz's street life got him kicked out the house at the
age of 16.

Biggz became heavily involved in the streets life. "I
didn't think about my future. I didn't care about
trouble. I knew that at any minute I could end up locked
up." Biggz's mindset remained in this mode until he was
reunited with Dominique, a childhood friend.

"Dominique had been up north for a couple of years and
than I ran into him one day when I was out coolin'. I
remember chillin' listening to him freestyle. I couldn't
help but think; damn I wish I could flow like that."
Motivated by Dominique, Biggz developed his flow. They
began recording and performing for people in these streets. However, it was Biggz's determination that took
it to the next level.

Although we never made it big, it made a life changing
direction for Biggz. "I had just been getting by for a
while and realized that there was dudes five and six
years younger than me in the same position, late comers
in the music game. For the first time i saw the big
picture.

Biggz moved back to savannah, Ga to start fresh. He left
his life of excuse behind. Determined to make it in
music, Biggz has enlisted the help of music producers,
off of the now famous web site soundclick. From work, to
the studio, to being a father, Biggz is motivated by one
thing success. "Music was an escape - something like a
fantasy." Biggz is now ready to turn that fantasy to reality.
