Biography
Up-and-coming Christian and Gospel singer and songwriter, Steven delorn Hampton, is a Bass soloist and a talented Baritone-Tenor, who is driven for success. Growing up in a musically active environment, the growing singer and songwriter was exposed to the rich and dynamic tastes of Alabama and the Southern states, exposed to Gospel rhythms in the Church. Inspired by a diverse and stirring musical styles and tastes, Steven delorn Hampton has continued to evolve and grow with his music. From being captivated by Blues, Gospel and contemporary Flare styles, the rising artist has taken the industry by storm, with memorable live performances at churches, concerts, live events, and open mic venues.

Steven delorn Hampton began singing at the young age of 6, singing backup vocals with his sisters for his family-associated Hampton Family singers' group. The budding singer decided to pursue music diligently and took formal vocal training in this regard. He has had the privilege of performing in multiple talent shows as a young singer and sang background vocals for Ali Alley Woodson of The Temptations. The celebrated singer has also amazed audiences on shows such as the Bobby Jones’ Gospel and The Unsigned Artist. He has also sung on stage with contemporary artist Patti LaBelle at a Phillips Morrison/ Brown& Williams concert.

Due to the distinctive and catchy Blues tunes, R&B rhythms, and Gospel song writing, Steven delorn Hampton has often been considered as “The Bobby Womack of Gospel". A powerhouse of talent, the singer’s music is dominated by an all-in-one studio artist’s mesmerizing and soulful song writing and empowering lead and background vocals on his songs. Often described as a bluesy sounding gospel with a contemporary spin, Steven delorn Hampton’s stellar discography boasts stirring singles, such as the 2020 release “Is the Praise”, and the soul-stirring 2019 single “You Must Be”. His inimitable musical voyage began with his 1990 release titled “3 Dimension”, with C Jackson. As an independent solo artist, he has released numerous projects that have helped him surge towards success, and expanded his fan following.

Steven delorn Hampton’s stirring discography has led him to achieving several accolades, including a first place in the 2007 Los Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel USA World SHOWCASE. His singles exude a unique sense of lyricism, with releases such as “Praying Grandmother”, highlighting a personal touch and moving lyrical genius. Similarly, “My Everything” emphasizes and accentuated the importance of clinging onto God as an all-encompassing, healing force for everyone.
