Despite our lack of video experience (ok that was the first time we video taped a person performing) Ken Noland was a consummate professional and never flexed at our lack of experience. Ken Noland was drinking in the environment (you can see it in his eyes) and it was coming back out of his flute. What an experience, the sound was amazing despite my best buy lavalier mic. that I bought on the way there. You could hear the effects the environment had on Kens performance, towards the end of our project nature and Ken Noland merged into one. An experience I hope never to forget. Final farewell to fall, the high fall winds dampened our efforts slightly but not our spirits. Nothing like winds 4 stories off the ground, despite mics blowing over, and wind blowing through Kens Nolands flute making it hard to stay on pitch we managed to get some footage. Thank you Ken for being a trooper. Must have been a long day with a show in the am and this recording pm and the drive back. I had a blast, hope do it again in the spring, for another tribute to the seasons changing in Indiana.
