I'm JJ,a German-born bassist & lately also composer/producer from Amsterdam (NL).
In the past I have been also a semi-pro member/bassist with 2 bands in first South-Germany & now in The Netherlands. Most notable band involvement so far had been my gigging for a while with "The JJC Helder Band", a A'dam group with a.o. guitarist Joop van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65 & Livin' Blues)and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox & Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock music legacy.
During a break in 2003 I decided to explore more my musical abilities & identity and started working on own compositions. Finally I had been glad & excited to release my (digital) album debut "Heartland" in 2005, followed by a 4-track EP as preview of a overdue new & up-following album in 2009..to be continued!
You can buy digital downloads at NimbitMusic: http://www.nimbitmusic.com/jrgenjoherl
and/or stream most of my tracks on major internet portals like, AppleMusic, Bandcamp, Deezer, SoundCloud, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube, etc.
