- About Me
- I Grew up in the SF Bay Area which had a deep impact on me. My first guitar teacher was David Nelson of The New Riders of the Purple Sage. The SF music scene greatly inspired me along with birth of the 60’s music. I bought my first Grateful Dead album when I was six and I loved the Stones and Beatles, Cream, all that stuff, too. There was so much happening musically, living in the Bay Area at that time. It was very alive. I had a lifelong dream of writing songs and recording in a studio, about 5 years ago, all that came together. Songs came rolling out of me and I found a great studio to work, which hooked me up with some of my favorite artists, like David Laflamme of It’s a Beautiful Day and David Grisman.
I’m a Americana Rocker. I’ve heard my songs described as old style done in a new way. I like that, because I think the old music should be revisited and new vibrancy could come from it. I like writing stuff that gets your energy up and shake it. It’s all about having a good time.
