- I'm a hip hop artist born and raised in and around Richmond, Va. I fell in love with music very young. My love of music came from my mother and my uncle. I started writing poetry in about the third grade and eventually evolved into rap later on when i was in the seventh grade. My seventh grade English teacher Mrs. Perecca opened my eyes when I wrote poetry for the middle school paper. She told me that I was holding myself back by being so censored and to step out of the comfort zone and not to be afraid to be myself and express myself.
