K'era and Kamal aka E'ra n Eye a fascinating Partnership by far. United less then a year ago after 25 yrs. of Separation the two have finally managed to refine not only a Friendship that was premature but a unique style of music that is far Overdue.
Both Born and Raised in Paterson NJ on the same Street just Blocks apart the two would meet in 1992 through mutual acquaintances.Kamal had recently completed a 3yr tour in the military and returned home to independently release his first single under his own Label PeaceLand Family Records" A Pioneer in the Game since 1979 growing up and performing alongside of Legendary Greats from the ColdCrush Four, Treacherous Three, Force Mc's to KRS 1 and Zulu Nation, Kamal has never stopped.
As a new artist in the game K'era would experience her first years as an artist under the Regime of Kamal and the PeaceLand Family Debuting her skills in her early years opening up for Artist like the Wu Tang Clan, YZ, Lost Boys and Lords of the Underground.
As quickly as the two united there relationship would be separated. K'era would spend the next 10 yrs in the Military and Kamal would relocate to the South after the Loss of his Mother. In 2001 while Single Parenting and Caring for his then ailing Father kamal would resurface as founder of "ThisThatISH" A Promotional and Marketing Consultation Company. Intrigued by a phone call from K'era who was Mourning the loss of her Father but was now also residing in the South Carolinas working as an independent A.R. Consultant and GhostWriter the two would begin to make plans to once again Unite their Energies.
Now after a Long awaited 3yr Span this Duo has finally rekindled their Spirits and Talents with a Unique Sound and Productive Technique motivated by their passion for the Art K'era and Kamal has wasted no time putting together a array of Music. Infused with Old School , Jazz and Funk and New School Melodies the two have released not one not two but three cd's in the past 7months. 'NiceLyfe1, NiceLyfe2 and OnMyISH the Soundtrack to their lives clearly emphasizes this duo as a force to be Reckoned with as upcoming writers and Producers.
Presently working on their Brand "ThisThatISH" Immense Services for Hire and the Production of their State Wide Youth Summit "TheForte" The two are also scheduled to Promote sometime mid 2018 the "Movement" which is a Collaboration of short writings as well as a Stage Play Entitled the "Coming of the NuBorn"
