O Setor Bronx é uma mistura de Rap e Rock n´ Roll no melhor estilo nitroglicerina, com um som forte,letras contundentes e uma presença de palco marcante.
A banda nasceu em 1999 no bairro boêmio de Padre Miguel,zona oeste do Rio de Janeiro.
O nome vem de um prédio abandonado apelidado de Bronx pela comunidade,onde os integrantes denominavam como o seu setor,logo SETOR BRONX .
Em 2015 lançou o seu primeiro álbum chamado AMPLIFICA,tendo ótima repercussão na cena underground tocando nas rádios Cidade,Transamérica,Roquette Pinto,web rádios e em diversas rádios comunitárias.
Fez importantes shows, dentre eles , o show no Rock in Rio no palco Espaço Favela, lonas e arenas culturais,SESCS,Audio Rebel,Projeto Ocupa Escola no Complexo da Maré (envolvendo alunos da comunidade e artistas locais),Resistência Cultural,Ocupa Minc e outros.
Gravou programas para a TV e YouTube como Estúdio Mobília Space e No Estúdio Acústico (mostrando sua versatilidade ao tocar suas músicas em versões acústicas).
Têm quatro vídeos clipes lançados: Hasta la Victoria, Sem Futuro, "Os 3 Mc Bolado" e Fogo Cruzado(lançada em Setembro de 2019 com participação do rapper e ativista cultural Dudu de Morro).
A formação da banda conta com: Marcelo Doby e Leandro Cabeça nos vocais ,Wagner Ignacio na bateria,Vagner Silva na guitarra e Sergio Cake no baixo .
