- About Me
- Mat Cable was born in 2013 when Raffaele Ferri, author and creator of the project, met the first members of the band, the name was consequently born after reflections and considerations about the universe of digital connections and wiring that hide behind our daily communications. Mat Cable quickly produced songs and in September 2014 they released "Rise", a self-produced EP. The second work of the band “Psychotronic Drugs” arrives in May 2015 thanks to the collaboration with Alka Record Label and the artistic direction of Massimiliano Lambertini, recorded at the Freedon Recording Studio in Jolanda di Savoia by Michele Guberti. The single "Under My Skin" projects Mat Cable on an adventure in the panorama of Italian and international independent music.
In 2016 an important change in the band, the arrival of Samuele Anselmi on drums and Andrea Sicurella on bass. In March 2017 Alka Record Label "Your Fire" comes out the first single of the one that establishes the change of line up and a taste of the sound of the band that will be contained in their first album. "You Like Me" the new single, released on December 15, 2017, produced by Alka Record Label, is a vaguely pop song that talks about today's and modern life as a couple. Mat Cable are working on the production of the new album, which will be released in spring 2018.
The new and third single "Terror" by the Lombard band is released on March 26, 2019, extracted from the first album "Everyone Just Going Through Something".
